So we got showtime just to watch the new Twin Peaks season and then cancelled. I've been wanting to get the series but everywhere I go it's 60 dollars. So one day just browsing amazon I happened to see the price for the new season is half the amount. That's right it's currently 30 dollars for the complete dvd set on amazon. Deletei'm kinda the same, but you have to find a series that isn't too in depth or it will just be overload. i was just talking to the cashier girl at fye about this. i think television that is episodic, with a small or overall story arch, works best. buffy comes to mind or x-files. the newer hbo and showtime stuff usually only have like 8 or ten episodes per season which is nice too.
